Another Monday

Yep, it's here....another Monday.

Lots of stuff done already ($100 rebate sent in, faxed out some info, supper ready, 1/2 the clothes folded.....etc - not to mention: kids off to school, kitchen picked up, Baby up and changed and played with.....) yes, the life of a busy mom.

Yesterday was AWESOME.....great day with family in the morning and friends and a good time watching the Super Bowl in the evening.

Our taxes are done and God has seen fit to bless us with more than we have EVER gotten....so we will try to be good stewards of his money and replenish our emergency fund (remember the washer we had to replace the day before Christmas eve?) and put even MORE in it. We are NOT getting ourselves anything...no "rewards" so to speak. I think we have grown enough in faith to realize that we need to cut back on material things - many of which seem to be time-wasters and take us further away from EACH OTHER.

We (maybe, ME) have also decided that there are some people that will get "weeded" from our life, unless necessary. There are a few people that are "pretenders" - those that pretend to care or pretend to want to spend time with us, but never actually do - one of them IS family, but is so depressed that I fear she is beyond help except from our heavenly father. She will remain in our prayers, of course (along with her family) but we can no longer extend ourselves (go out of our way) to include her in our daily life. She is too needy, and it only makes OUR life more stressful. If she wants to be included, SHE will have to put forth the effort.

The rebate mentioned above is another blessing right from God - a $100 rebate for purchasing the washing machine. He knows what we need, when we need it and provided - hallelujah!
